Our clinical team at Selma Helpline is experienced in treating dependence on a wide range of substances.
Detoxification is often the critical first step in addiction recovery. At Selma Helpline, our medical detox program provides round-the-clock care in a safe, clinically supervised environment at our facility. Our on-site physicians and registered nurses monitor each patient's vital signs continuously, adjusting protocols as needed to ensure comfort and safety throughout the withdrawal process.
Duration: Typically 3-7 days, depending on the substance, duration of use, and individual medical factors.
Transition: Upon completing detox, patients are seamlessly transitioned into our residential or outpatient programs for continued therapeutic care at our facility.
Our residential rehabilitation program provides an immersive, structured environment where patients live on our Selma campus while receiving intensive daily therapy. This level of care is ideal for individuals who need a supportive, distraction-free setting to focus entirely on their recovery.
Duration: 30-90 days, with the length of stay determined collaboratively by the patient and clinical team based on individual progress and treatment goals.
Selma Helpline offers two levels of outpatient care at our facility for individuals who need structured clinical support while maintaining work, school, or family responsibilities.
Our PHP provides intensive treatment during the day while patients return home in the evening. This program includes 5-6 hours of daily programming at our center, 5 days per week, for 2-4 weeks. PHP is ideal for patients stepping down from residential care or those who need a high level of structure without 24-hour supervision.
The IOP at our Selma facility consists of 3-hour sessions, 3-5 days per week, for 8-12 weeks. This flexible format allows patients to attend therapy in the morning or evening while continuing their daily responsibilities. IOP includes group therapy, individual counseling, skill-building workshops, and relapse prevention training.
For patients who have completed more intensive levels of care, our standard outpatient program provides ongoing individual and group therapy sessions at our center on a weekly or bi-weekly basis, supporting the transition back to independent living.
Many individuals who struggle with substance use disorders also experience co-occurring mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, or bipolar disorder. At Selma Helpline, our dual diagnosis program treats both conditions simultaneously, recognizing that lasting recovery requires addressing the full scope of each patient's challenges.
Our clinical team at Selma Helpline understands that untreated mental health conditions significantly increase the risk of relapse. By providing integrated, concurrent treatment at our facility, we give patients the strongest foundation for sustained recovery.
